Romans 8:1

8 There is therefore now no condemnation
to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh,
but after the Spirit.
Sanctification is a very personal relationship with CHRIST.
Only JESUS can understand our plight.
He took on the form of the humblest person.
He knows what we go through.
He saw the sin, and disobedience, around Him.
He has not reached out to us, from some lofty tower.
JESUS came down from heaven, for these reasons:
Mark 2:17

17 When Jesus heard it,
he saith unto them,
They that are whole have no need of the physician,
but they that are sick:
I came not to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.
Luke 19:10
King James Version
10 For the Son of man is come
to seek and to save
that which was lost.
He gave us warnings, for the times are urgent.
Mark 1:15
King James Version
15 And saying,
The time is fulfilled,
and the kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye,
and believe the gospel.
I don't know about you, but here are my 7 reasons for wanting to be holy before GOD:
1. I am ashamed of my sins.
1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
2. Satan is NOT my father.
John 8:44
King James Version
44 Ye are of your father the devil,
and the lusts of your father ye will do.
He was a murderer from the beginning,
and abode not in the truth,
because there is no truth in him.
When he speaketh a lie,
he speaketh of his own:
for he is a liar,
and the father of it.
3. I love JESUS.
John 14:15
King James Version
15 If ye love me,
keep my commandments.
4. I don't want to perish; I want eternal life with JESUS.
John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
5. I want to be with JESUS during the RAPTURE.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven
with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
6. I want to be with JESUS forever.
John 14:2-4

2 In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so,
I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again,
and receive you unto myself;
that where I am,
there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know,
and the way ye know.
7. I am GRATEFUL to GOD for EVERYTHING; I must be worthy of Him.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.
